The Sherpa Dog Carrier represents your everyday, sturdy travel carrier. They are particularly well known and approved for airline travel. In fact, Delta Air Lines asked Sherpa's Pet Trading to develop a bag for travelers everywhere. The Delta Airlines Deluxe Dog Carrier by Sherpa has been designed to let pets enjoy their room with a view when traveling by plane, train, bus, boat, car or wherever you go. Many of Sherpas other dog carriers include the detail and features required by travelling pet owners everywhere for dog carriers.

If you're looking for a good pet carrier for airline travel in particular, we find the Sherpa Pet Carrier to be outstanding. As most of you are aware, airlines often have height restrictions for pet carriers and the shortest Sherpa dog carriers height wise is the small bag which is 9.5"H. In some selected models they do have a mini Sherpa pet carrier which is 8.5" high. All of the Sherpa bags are soft-sided and pliable allowing them to conform to spaces smaller than the actual dimensions of the bag. Remember, most airline requirements for pet carriers are actually for hard pet carriers that are not flexible height wise. The medium Sherpa bags, with a height of 10.5", fit very well under most cabin seats.
