Wiley Nethken-Chihuahua-July Model Contestant
Say hello to my precious Wiley! He is a 5 months old Chihuahua, a whopping 4 1/2 pounds, and just over 12 inches long. I was finally able to rescue Wiley from a local pet store after 2 days of explaining (more like begging) to my boyfriend that Wiley was the perfect pooch for me. Well, it turned out I was right. My family, and even Tom, can't seem to get enough of the little guy. Of course, how could they?! Wiley is the sweetest, most loving, playful dog I have ever seen. He enjoys cuddling, camping, mid-afternoon naps, trips to the dog park, and he absolutely loves people! His favorite thing to do is go "bye bye", as he knows this means he is not only going to go for a car ride, but on another adventure to mingle with exciting new people. He greets EVERYONE by giving kisses. I call him my "little social butterfly", and not because he walks up to people, but because people ALWAYS approach him. One man even said that we should train him to be a therapy dog because he has the best disposition and can bring a smile to anyone's face. When we take a trip to the dog park, Wiley has a bit of the "little man complex" with the bigger dogs, but I think he is only trying to protect us. Besides, it is just too cute watching him try to "be the boss" of the other dogs at the park. He's even become a trend setter. My parents just got themselves a teeny tiny chihuahua mix female, and my aunt and uncle purchased the other two sisters. We've all fallen in love with these little dogs!
