I have a small dog. Shouldn't I be buying clothing in small?
This item you selected is just for small dogs, so the large is the size of most of the "small" dog clothing you see at a retail store. To give you an example, the Maltese wearing the Classic Formal Dress is wearing a small and she is only 3 pounds!
Can I figure out my dog's size by it's weight?
There are so many different kinds of dog breeds and it is hard to determine what size your dog would be with only their weight. As a general rule, we would recommend the following sizes: Weight of your dog: Under 2 pounds
X-Small
2 to 4 pounds
Small
4 to 7.5 pounds
Medium
7.5-8.5 pounds
